Impact Hub Gyumri leaves the Network

Impact Hub Gyumri has always served as a vibrant space for collaboration, learning, and social entrepreneurship, bringing together changemakers committed to economic empowerment, creativity, local development and equality agenda of the Impact Hub Network in Shirak region, Armenia. After more than two years of successful operations, we are sad to see Impact Hub Gyumri close.

Since launching in 2005, the Impact Hub network has undergone significant growth, now reaching over 500,000 Impact Makers in 120+ locations across the globe. With this growth has also come a stronger focus on programming and trans-local collaboration: tackling the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through incubation, acceleration and scaling efforts for social entrepreneurs and innovators from all sectors across Armenia. Within this global context, Impact Hub Gyumri has played a meaningful role in advancing social innovation in Armenia. During this period, the Hub directly delivered over 60 events, including community gatherings and public-facing initiatives such as Brunch: Women for Women, Quick Talks, Movie Nights, Speed Mentoring for Business, SIA Retreat, Ideathons, Hackathons, and EU Days in Armenia. In total, the space hosted more than 4,000 guests, built 20+ partnerships with national and international organizations, and organized two Christmas Bazaars, each featuring over 30 local businesses.

A cornerstone of Impact Hub Gyumri’s work was CRELAB Shirak, an impactful capacity-building program funded with UK aid from the British people. Across all activities, 1,800 participants engaged in 60 workshops and masterclasses, ranging from short-term sessions to programs lasting up to six months and through 25 public events, CRELAB Shirak functioned as a creative and entrepreneurial hub, fostering new career pathways, financial independence, and professional growth.
